SUBSTANCE: agricultural harvester comprises a harvester made in the form of a mounted harvester and intended for cutting and gripping the harvested crop, inclined chamber, which is located after the harvester and in which the dependence of the height of the harvested crop layer on the time of the periodically occurring jam of the harvested crop on the harvester can be established, which is a frequency of oscillations, and a driver assistance system for controlling at least a header. Driver assistance system comprises a computing device and a sensor unit comprising a crop sensor system for determining crop parameters, and a sensor of the height of the layer of the harvested crop for determining said relationship. Computing device is configured to implement the harvesting process strategy during the current harvesting process based on analysis of signals from the sensor unit, generating simultaneously and with coordination among themselves at least the following harvester parameters: working table length, reel horizontal position and reel vertical position and transfer of these parameters to harvester. Signal analysis for at least generating the length of the working table includes Fourier analysis for analysing oscillations of said relationship.

EFFECT: optimized generation of harvester parameters to reduce grain losses.
