FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coatings intended for footpaths, sidewalks and bicycle paths made of cement and other binding materials. Sidewalk slab is made in the form of a square parallelepiped with a hole in the centre, having the shape of an inverted truncated pyramid with square bases. At corners of the plate there are ledges directed upwards, each of which is made in the form of a truncated pyramid with square bases. Each projection has two faces of the pyramid located at a right angle coinciding with the corresponding angle of the body. Total area of small bases of pyramids of protrusions is equal to area of small base of hole pyramid. Total area of larger bases of the pyramids of the protrusions is equal to the area of the larger base of the pyramid of the hole. Height of the projections is equal to the height of the hole in the plate body.

EFFECT: increased stiffness of slabs on loose soils and prevention of road surface shrinkage.
