FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in oil and gas industries. Electric drive comprises an electric motor, a reducer with a manual override, a control unit with a rectifier and an inverter, divided into modules from one to four, as well as a housing consisting of segments connected by means of a flange connection, wherein the central segment has six external faces with a through hole, intended for connection of functional segments or closed with plugs. Electrical equipment is placed inside the housing so that installation of supply cables and communication cables is carried out from the side of the central segment. Segments of the housing have the design of “explosion-proof enclosure”, and at their connection the slotted explosion protection is provided.

EFFECT: invention solves the task of creating a small-sized controlled electric drive of pipeline valves with unification of individual structural elements, which simplify production and installation.
