SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a method for manufacturing a personalized orthopaedic chair and a personalized orthopaedic chair made using the method. Method involves marking points of anatomical landmarks and obtaining anatomical landmarks. Then, anthropometric parameters are obtained from the obtained anatomical landmarks. If there are no asymmetries in the lengths of the extremities, anthropometric parameters collected from the right side are used. If there are asymmetries of limb length less than 2% of the absolute value, the arithmetic mean of the anthropometric parameters is taken into account. If observing asymmetries of extremity lengths exceeding 2%, a larger value of anthropometric parameters is taken into account. Then, a personalized orthopaedic chair is made using the obtained anthropometric parameters. Personalized chair is produced using the obtained anthropometric parameters and includes a leg with a spider, a seat, a back with armrests. On the back there is a lumbar support located along the entire width of the back.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of making a personalized orthopaedic chair taking into account the individual anthropometric parameters of the user for the correct distribution of the axial load in the "sitting" position, optimal position for physiological curvatures of the spine and, accordingly, long-term comfortable sitting.
