FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to wind power engineering, to wind engines with axis of rotation perpendicular to air flow. Blades are made in the form of a three-dimensional volumetric geometric figure formed by truncation by a secant plane along the line of the minor axis of the straight elliptical hollow cylinder, with the bases limited by the planes. Vertical edge of the open part of the blade is connected to the cylindrical surface of the similar blade, which is also connected by the vertical edge to the cylindrical surface of the next blade along the circumference. Blades are connected in required number equidistant from axis in one plane, closing circle of blades, with formation of structure in form of wheel of blades of component part of windmill rotor.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of kinetic energy extraction from wind flow.
