FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology. Student is immersed into a virtual reality; the student is placed in a delivery room with a patient in front of him/her on an obstetric chair-bed in a lithotomy position. Student sets up the virtual labour scenario with the help of the virtual settings panel by setting the normal values of the woman’s pelvis, head, shoulders and pelvis, and the location of the foetus and placenta in the uterus. Further, the student undergoes a stage-by-stage scenario of the birth process in the first, second, third and early postpartum period of normal physiological delivery and performs the corresponding medical manipulations.
EFFECT: method provides effective and safe training of users.
