FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to the beneficiation of minerals and can be used in the technology of extracting non-ferrous, noble and rare metals from technogenic formations – tails, specifically in the technology of processing industrial wastes from flotation of copper-molybdenum ores to obtain molybdenum and copper concentrates. Method of extracting molybdenum and copper concentrates from industrial wastes includes main bulk flotation and cleaner flotation with separation of foam and chamber products. Initial feed with particle size of 0–0.040 mm is fed to the main bulk flotation. Main bulk flotation and cleaner flotation are carried out in series-installed column-type flotation machines, connected to each other by chutes and pipe lines by means of flotation reagents dosing with pneumatic batchers, in the capacity of which for the main and cleaner flotation there used is an aqueous mixture of diesel fuel, potassium butyl xanthate and foaming agents in the amount specified in the technology. Chamber product of the main bulk flotation in the form of tailings is directed to the tailing dump. Foam product of recleaning flotation is directed to the main collective flotation cycle of the plant for further processing with flotation of copper-molybdenum ores. Chamber product of recleaning flotation is directed by gravity along a chute into a sump and then by a sand pump along a pipe line to the head of column flotation machines of the main collective flotation.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of copper and molybdenum extraction from industrial raw materials, as well as increasing the environmental safety of processing industrial raw materials.
