FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Spatial vibration isolator comprises a platform for installation of a vibration-insulated object, a frame made with possibility of rigid connection with a base or a foundation, with a sleeve coaxially installed in it, cylinder rigidly connected to platform and sleeve, centring ring fixed in gap between cylinder and frame, lower vibration damping gasket and elastic links. Elastic links are made in the form of springs of low stiffness working for tension. Each of the springs is attached to the sleeve by one end and to the frame by the other. Vibration isolator is equipped with side vibration damping gaskets located along frame perimeter, and centring ring is coated with antifriction material.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability and efficiency of damping in resonance modes.
