FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical measuring devices, specifically to sets of gauge blocks intended for transfer of linear dimensions, and can be used in various branches of machine building, for example, in production of tools, in assembly production, during adjustment of pointer measuring instruments, etc. Universal set of plane-parallel gauge blocks contains 85 gauge blocks with dimensions from 0.5 mm to 125 mm and allows replacing 12 existing universal sets with the number of gauge blocks in sets 38, 46, 47, 76, 79, 83, 87, 91, 103, 111, 112 and 116.
EFFECT: reducing the number of gauge blocks in the set, reducing the mass of the set and improving its operational characteristics.
