FIELD: pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of seals and is intended to ensure sealing of end sections of shafts of main and booster pump units, main and booster pumps of mobile pump units pumping oil and oil products. End seal comprises a housing with springs installed in it, a cartridge installed in the housing, a sleeve made with possibility of installation on the pump rotor shaft, at least one rubber sealing ring of round section, friction pair formed by movable and fixed contact rings made of antifriction material. Movable contact ring is installed on the sleeve by means of drivers, and the fixed contact ring is installed in the cage, at the same time the end seal also contains an additional O-ring installed between the housing and the cage, as well as ring-shaped backup seal installed between housing and sleeve and consisting of three equal floating sectors made of antifriction material. For tight fit of the backup seal to the sleeve surface in the ring-shaped backup seal on the outer side there is a process groove in which an annular compression spring is installed, and on the inner side there is a labyrinth seal.

EFFECT: invention increases reliability of the axial-movable connection of the end seal and increases its service life, as well as prevents leaks of pumped oil and oil products in case of destruction (failure) of fixed or movable friction contact rings of the end seal.
