Abstract RU 2836008 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, psychology, psychotherapy, as well as to information computer technologies. Disclosed is a method of conducting a corrective desensitization session by eye movement using virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies, involving the following actions: connecting to a virtual space for a correction session by eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR); patient selects a negative experience on the screen, determines the category of the patient’s mental and behavioural problem and selects the corresponding version of the corrective protocol for the eye movement desensitization technique; psychosomatic state is assessed with respect to a negative experience, the patient receives instructions from a virtual psychologist on self-diagnosis according to the proposed parameters – feelings, sensations, images, sounds, thought, fixing negative experiences, patients undergo a session of psychological problem correction, perform successive processing of negative experience using the eye movement desensitization method and bilateral and binaural stimulation, receive an additional load on working memory, positive conviction and state are fixed, the stage of "Erasing" residues of negative sensations is carried out, after passing previous stages, performing transition to virtual space "Safe place" for integration of experience, wherein said steps are implemented by means of an automated virtual reality system of a specialist working in the EMDR method, using which the source of the problems is diagnosed and identified, all steps are carried out independently by the patient; the “Safe place” virtual space is used in a single algorithm with eye movement desensitization protocols.

EFFECT: invention provides a wider range of diagnosed negative and problem states, enabling the selection and implementation of the specific protocol required to correct the detected problem, evaluating the effectiveness of correction and providing additional solutions, wherein all said tasks are solved without involving a therapist.
