FIELD: medical science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used in the correction of complex post-traumatic stress disorder. That is followed by sequential stimulation of 5 specific hand zones: a central part of a palm, a wrist joint, an inner surface of a forearm, a distal phalanx of the thumb, distal and middle phalanges. Sequential stimulation is performed by touching the client on both sides by two fingers of both hands of a specialist at frequency no more than 10 exposures a second on one zone from both sides. Therapy starts with stimulation of 1 client’s area. That is followed by the sequential stimulation of 3rd, 2nd, 4th and 5th zones. Each of the zones is stimulated for at least 3 minutes. Further, the specialist stimulates each of the zones in turn in an arbitrary sequence on the basis of the client’s physiological response. Specialist continues stimulating the zones in an arbitrary sequence until the end of the therapy taking up to 50 minutes in total.
EFFECT: method provides improving the state with levelling neurotic states of post-traumatic stress disorder.
