FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to the field of mud therapy, and can be used for treating diseases in pathogenesis of which oxidative stress caused by disturbed peroxide homeostasis plays a leading role. An area of the patient’s body to be exposed to therapeutic mud is applied, and a pad containing metallic magnesium is placed. Further, a mud application of acid therapeutic mud is applied on the pad, on which an airtight polymer film is then laid. Magnesium metal powder is used as a pad for mud application. A mesh made of metallic magnesium is used as a pad for the mud application.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of mud therapy with no additional contraindications and side effects.
