FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for monitoring of technical condition of long pipeline. System includes interconnected along the length of pipes with magnetostrictive sensors of directed waves mounted along the length of each pipe, made with possibility of converting an electrical signal into elastic vibrations propagating along the pipe and back, containing: magnetostrictive strip, magnetisation coil and excitation coil, ends of coils of sensors of each of pipes are connected to control unit mounted outside on surface of pipe, control unit comprises a controller, a transceiving module containing control channels, each of which includes an emitter for exciting the magnetization and excitation coils and a receiver for receiving signals from the magnetization and excitation coils, pipeline control units are connected by means of a data transmission module connected to the control unit controller, to a common data bus formed by serial data buses of each of the pipeline pipes, to a common control module and a power supply bus to a power supply.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a quickly formed, reliable in operation and repairable system for monitoring the technical condition of an extended pipeline.
