FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: microwave apparatus for drying wool in a continuous mode has an open biconical resonator, on the inner surface of which there are coaxially installed annular diaphragms with an inner diameter which is a multiple of half the wavelength. Difference in radii of the central annular diaphragm is equal to half the wavelength, and magnetrons with waveguides and fans are located along the large perimeter of the generatrices of the open biconical resonator, with shift of 120 degrees. Along the axis of the open biconical resonator there is a fluoroplastic perforated pipe with a diameter that is a multiple of half the wavelength, inside which there is a coaxially laid working branch of dielectric mesh conveyor, at the beginning and at the end of which there are loading and receiving tanks. Non-ferromagnetic air outlet and an air duct with a heat gun are installed on the surface of the generatrixes of the biconical resonator on the open sides. Behind the working chamber there is an electric drive of the dielectric mesh conveyor and its idle branch.
