SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses an apparatus for generating a high or ultrahigh pressure steam by-product from an apparatus for producing maleic anhydride and a method for production thereof. Device includes an ultra-high pressure steam drum, a connected molten salt pump, an oxidation reactor, a control valve and a molten salt cooler, as well as a connected switching cooler and a gas cooler, and between the switching cooler and the gas cooler there is a boiler water buffer device and a boiler water booster pump; unique design for increasing the intermediate pressure of boiler water and the unique design of the gas cooler in the present invention make the gas cooler and the switching cooler very easy to manufacture, enable to efficiently recover the heat of the process gas, while avoiding the accumulation of dust in the process gas and easily cleaning the adhered resin, and are used for mass formation of steam of high or ultrahigh pressure, at the same time, one oxidation reactor is equipped with several coolers of molten salt for separation of total heat of reaction into several parts, reducing heat exchange load of one cooler of molten salt, so that the heat exchange area of the molten salt cooler can satisfy the needs of generating high-pressure steam or ultra-high pressure steam, reducing the complexity of production and the risk of using molten salt coolers.
EFFECT: efficient recovery of process gas heat; reduced complexity of production; considerable reduction of device power consumption.
