SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, in particular to multilayer polymer reinforced pipes and method of their diagnostics, which can be used for collection and transportation of oil, water, gas, chemical reagents. Polymer reinforced pipe comprises successively deposited on the outer surface of the polymer pipe a reinforced layer and an outer polymer shell, wherein the reinforcing layer is made of successively spirally wound multilayer rovings, consisting of a current-conducting core, and coated with a protective dielectric shell, wherein between reinforcing rovings there is a gap. Also described is a method for diagnosing a polymer reinforced pipe.
EFFECT: invention increases reliability of operation, increases service life and enables to diagnose technical condition during operation.
