SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for measurement of liquid level in closed reservoirs, containers, tanks or cisterns containing various types of liquids, including aggressive ones. Liquid level indicator based on the use of echo-pulse reverberation using an electromagnetic acoustic transducer — EMAT, contains EMAT, a pulse generator, a radio pulse generator, a first amplifier, a second amplifier, a recorder of reflected radio pulses, two reading circuits, two RAM and a computer.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities and operational properties of the liquid level indicator sensor.
