FIELD: smoking accessories.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge (10) for an aerosol-generating system, comprising liquid reservoir (40) for holding a liquid aerosol-forming substrate (42), current collector (12) in fluid communication with liquid reservoir (40), and holder (14) current collector. Current-collecting unit (12) comprises current-collecting element (16, 18), which is heated by penetration into it of varying magnetic field, wherein current-collecting element (16, 18) has heating area (24) and at least one attachment area (22), wherein at least one attachment area (22) is located adjacent to periphery of heating area (24). Heating area (24) has length and width, and at least one attachment area (22) has length and width. Holder (14) of the current collector is in contact with at least one area (22) of attachment of current collector (16, 18). Length of at least one area (22) of attachment is less than length of area (24) of heating, and width of at least one area (22) of attachment is less than width of area (24) of heating.

EFFECT: minimizing heat losses from the current collector to other parts of the cartridge without reducing heat transfer to the aerosol-forming substrate.
