FIELD: smoking accessories.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge (10) for an aerosol generating system comprises liquid reservoir (40) for holding a liquid aerosol-forming substrate (42), current collector (12) in fluid communication with liquid reservoir (40), and current collector holder (14). Current collector (12) comprises current collector (16, 18) having heating area (24) and at least one attachment area (22). Heating area (24) comprises a first material, wherein the first material is a magnetic material capable of heating when an alternating magnetic field penetrates into it. At least one attachment area (22) comprises a second material, wherein the second material is a non-magnetic material. At least one area (22) of fixation of current collector is in contact with holder (14) of current collector. Weight portion of the first material in heating area (24) is greater than the weight portion of the first material in at least one attachment area (22).

EFFECT: reduction of heat losses from the current collector (susceptor) to other parts of the cartridge without reducing heat transfer to the aerosol-forming substrate.
