METHOD OF TREATING OPISTHORCHIASIS CHOLANGITIS Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A61B1/273 A61P33/00 A61K31/00 A61M27/00

Abstract RU 2836545 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery. Cholecystectomy and bile duct drainage are performed. After the endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography procedure is completed, bile ducts are washed by single introduction into common bile duct of sterile ozonized physiological solution with concentration of ozone 20 mg/l in amount of 20 ml. Solution is prepared before use by passing an ozone-oxygen mixture through a sterile physiological solution placed in 200 ml bottle for 15 minutes. In the presence of external bile duct drainage, bile duct irrigation is performed daily for 7 days. Method makes it possible to increase degree of deworming in opisthorchiasis cholangitis, to reduce length of treatment, reduce the number of complications caused by the negative cytotoxic effect on the hepatobiliary system of the medicinal solutions, reducing the number of recurrences of the disease, reducing the number of postoperative complications due to duct sanitation and relief of cholangitis manifestations. Method involves drainage and irrigation of bile passages with sterile ozonised saline during ERCP procedure, or during percutaneous cholangiostomy. Parasitotropic agent used is sterile ozonised physiological saline with ozone concentration of 20 mg/l in volume of 20 ml, prepared according to G.A. Boyarinov, solution is introduced into common bile duct once upon completion of procedure (ERCP), or in case of external drainage of bile ducts daily for 7 days.

EFFECT: higher degree of deworming with reduced complications, reduced length of treatment, reduced complications caused by negative cytotoxic action on tissue of hepatobiliary system of medicinal solutions, reduction of number of recurrences of disease, reduction of number of postoperative complications due to sanitation of ducts and relief of manifestations of cholangitis.
