FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of industrial ecology, in particular to the field of hot gas cleaning from suspended particles. Disclosed filter element for removal of particles from gas contains filtering wall and fixing sleeve. Filtering wall is made using inorganic fibre and ceramic binder and has the shape of a hollow tube closed at one end. Meanwhile the filtering wall is formed by successively located first and second component parts connected to each other by their end surfaces. Fixing sleeve comes into contact with technological sections of external surfaces of the first and the second component parts and is attached to the first and the second component parts by means of the inserted spacer elements. Each of the inserted spacing elements passes through the fixing sleeve and is recessed into the body of the corresponding component part.
EFFECT: higher strength of prefabricated filter element.
