BAG FILTER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning gases from solid admixtures; metallurgy; chemical, food-processing, construction and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed bag filter has housing, bin, bag board dividing housing into clean and dirty gas chambers, vertical filtering bags, pulse- type regeneration system including blow-off tubes mounted in clean gas chamber with their nozzles directed to bags on side of open ends. Metal strip is vertically located in housing before each filter bag of first row relative to incoming flow of dirty gas; width of this strip is equal to diameter of this bag. Besides that, pulse-type regeneration system is provided with additional blow-off tubes mounted in dirty gas chamber with their nozzles directed towards filtering bags upward to nozzles of blow-off tubes mounted at the top for simultaneous opposite blowing of tubes from both sides. EFFECT: intensification of process; enhanced efficiency and reliability; increased service life of filter; reduced usage of metals. 2 cl, 2 dwg
