SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of informing about a pedestrian when he crosses a section of a street-road network on a pedestrian crossing. Method includes transmitting information on the pedestrian on the pedestrian crossing on the vehicle heading from the portable device of the pedestrian to the vehicle board; comparison of coordinates of the pedestrian crossing and coordinates of the planned trajectory of the vehicle taking into account the current distance from the vehicle to the pedestrian crossing and the current speed of the vehicle. Thereafter, vehicle driver and/or highly automated vehicle equipment makes decisions on vehicle control.
EFFECT: preventing collision with a pedestrian on a selected pedestrian crossing on the heading of this vehicle.
