FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in devices of spindle heads with variable spindle angle. Head comprises a housing, a drive mechanism and a spindle assembly with a cutter, located in the housing with the possibility of rotation, wherein the drive mechanism is made in the form of a power mechanism and a lever-traction mechanism consisting of successively interconnected three lever links, the pivot axes of which are parallel to each other and the horizontal plane, wherein the output shaft of the power mechanism is rigidly connected directly to the corresponding end of the first linkage and is rotatably connected to the mounting frame, and the end of the second link rod, connected to the side wall of the spindle assembly, is rotatably connected to a support bearing fixed in the wall of the housing. End of the third linkage, which is located between the first and second links, on the side of its connection with the second linkage is bent.
EFFECT: use of the invention ensures reduction of the device dimensions and simplification of its design.
