FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining by metal cutting machines. Articulated swivel head includes a base, a drive mechanism, and a spindle. Drive mechanism contains a power mechanism, a connecting rod mechanism and a lead screw. Cutter is fixed at the end of the spindle. Spindle is fixed at the end of the connecting rod mechanism. End of the connecting rod mechanism, fixed on the spindle, is put on a support bearing. Connecting rod mechanism is made with possibility of rotation around the support bearing. Support bearing is fixed on the base. Other end of the connecting rod mechanism is connected with the possibility of movement to the lead screw. Output end of the power mechanism is connected to the end of the lead screw. Connecting rod mechanism provides adjustment of the spindle inclination angle by movement along the lead screw.

EFFECT: compactness of the device when rotating the cutter at the same angle of inclination and simplicity of design.
