FIELD: veterinary science; virology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of differentiating the genome of the foot-and-mouth disease virus of industrial strains of serotype SAT-1 by analysing melting curves of high-resolution PCR products using the green fluorescent dye LUCS 13 and the developed oligonucleotide primers.
EFFECT: possibility to differentiate industrial strains of foot-and-mouth disease virus serotype SAT-1, increase sensitivity and specificity, as well as reliability of the analysis.
