FIELD: virology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for differentiating the genome of the foot-and-mouth disease virus of industrial strains of serotype A by analyzing maximum melting points of PCR products using the SYBR Gold intercalating dye and specific oligonucleotide primers.
EFFECT: developed method makes it possible to: increase sensitivity and specificity, increase reliability of the analysis, using high-resolution peak analysis to differentiate industrial strains of serotype A foot-and-mouth disease virus.
