FIELD: electrolytic or electrophoretic processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plant for electrolysis of water from a feed tank and an electrolysis cell containing end electrodes, separating partitions and gas discharge channels arranged between them. Plant is characterized by the fact that to minimize energy costs, increase the efficiency of the plant and purity of the produced gases by reducing the surface tension of cavitated water, a hydrodynamic cavitator is used, consisting of a water inlet pipe, a cover, a flow chamber, a cylinder, inversely truncated cones, collapse caverns, replaceable nozzle, separating partition divider, diffuser and outlet branch pipe, in the form of ascending flow into slotted gaps formed by surfaces of electrodes.
EFFECT: minimized power consumption, higher efficiency and purity of produced gases.
