FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis of water and can be used to produce hydrogen and high-pressure oxygen. Internal cavity of the rigid body through the connection and the high-pressure liquid pump with the pressure sensor is connected to the back pressure liquid container, the casing of electrolysis cells is made sealed with the outputs of communications for supplying electrolyte, power supply, tapping of electrolysis products and signals from the electrolyzer sensors, the circuits of the electrolyte circulation are located outside the rigid body and contain gas separators of hydrogen and oxygen, an electrolyte separator, an electrolyte cooler with a refrigerant circuit, alkaline high-pressure pump, regulating valves and level and pressure and temperature sensors, where the hydrogen and oxygen gas separators are connected to the electrolyte separator through throttle control valves, and the electrolyte separator is equipped with gas purge valves and is connected to the feedwater tank through a water pump, sensors, control valves and pumps are connected to the control unit by electric cables.

EFFECT: improved performance of a high-pressure electrolysis plant, which consists in reduced energy consumption, increased service life and, as a consequence, reduced cost of hydrogen and oxygen.
