FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: present invention represents device (100) and method (200) for testing protective clothing for penetration of liquids. Device (100) includes sample holder (102) and test liquid diffuser (150) for supplying a flow of a predetermined amount of test liquid to the target area of the test sample at a constant rate. Diffuser (150) includes syringe (152) with plunger (156) and needle (158) connected to the syringe, and syringe drive (160) for pressurizing plunger (156) to allow ejection of test fluid contained in syringe (152) through needle (158) onto the target area of the test sample.
EFFECT: design of a reliable and effective device for testing protective clothes for penetration of liquids, such as pathogens carried with blood or biological fluids, and a method of using it.
