FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine tool industry and discloses methods of installation and removal of a tool during its change in a rotary spindle head of a machine, which also has a bed, a movable table, a column, a slider, and a tool magazine. Rotary spindle head has the ability to move along the X, Y and Z axes of the machine-tool, as well as in the direction of its own axis to change tools, which are arranged in the tool magazine.
EFFECT: invention provides for use of methods of installation and removal of a tool in a rotary spindle head, which provide rapid and convenient tool change due to the corresponding interaction of movements of the head and units of the machine along its axes without the use of additional complex equipment, which considerably simplifies the replacement process.
