FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for automatic compensation of capacitive earth fault currents in electric networks with voltage of 6-35 kV with neutral earthed through controlled arc-suppression reactor. Reference current is generated in zero sequence circuit. Frequency of oscillations in the zero-sequence circuit is determined at a given moment in time and compared with the frequency of the network. If the comparison result differs from the permissible value, the change in the inductance of the arc-quenching reactor is affected. Reference current is generated by exciting continuous undamped oscillations in the zero sequence circuit. Besides, continuous undamped oscillations in the zero-sequence circuit are excited by means of the amplifier with positive feedback, the load of which is the secondary winding of the controlled arc-quenching reactor. Method, when implemented, solves the problem of increasing the accuracy of adjustment.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of adjustment; wider field of use.
