FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for friction and wear testing of sliding bearings. Device is made in the form of a rectangular drive rack connected to a rod of a driving hydraulic cylinder and containing on internal surfaces of vertical sides toothed sectors located in a staggered order and shifted relative to the middle in different directions, corresponding to toothed sectors of a driving gear. At that, location of these toothed sectors is shifted relative to diametrical plane alternately in different directions, which provides when driving gear reaches upper or lower dead point of translational stroke of rectangular drive rack – disengagement of drive rack teeth and drive gear on one side of drive rack at simultaneous engagement of drive rack teeth and drive gear on opposite side of drive gear at slipping of drive gear teeth on drive rack flat on former working side. As a result, the drive gear receives a one-way rotational movement during the rack reciprocating movement.
EFFECT: providing friction and wear tests of sliding bearings in comparable conditions of reverse and one-way rotational movement at constant sliding speeds, in a wide range of load modes.
