SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building. Device for conversion of rotary motion into reciprocating motion comprises housing, in which reciprocating element is installed with possibility of reciprocal movement, kinematically connected to the driving element, having the possibility of rotation and made in the form of a drive shaft with a driving gear fixed on it. Driven element is equipped with a rail, besides, the device is equipped with a driven shaft mounted in the housing, as well as a driven gear wheel and two gear sectors. Driven gear wheel is fixed on driven shaft and is in constant engagement with driving gear wheel, one gear sector is fixed on drive shaft, and the other one - on the driven one, at that the toothed sectors have the possibility of rotation in opposite directions and alternate engagement by their teeth with teeth of the rack gear of the driven element.
EFFECT: higher reliability of device operation.
