FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to non-heat treated aluminium alloys for pressure casting, and can be used in automotive and aerospace industry when making parts from aluminium alloys with high impact strength and ductility. Non-heat treated aluminium alloy for pressure casting contains, wt.%: Si 6.3-8.3; Fe 0.07-0.45; Cu 0.05-0.5; Mn 0.5-0.8; Mg 0.15-0.35; Ti 0.01-0.2; Sr 0.015-0.035; rare-earth elements, including at least one of La, Ce and Sc 0.04-0.2; Ni 0.001-0.1; Zn 0.005-0.1; Ga 0.01-0.03; Al and impurities in amount of 0.2 or less – the rest. Method of producing die-cast aluminium alloy not subjected to heat treatment includes the following steps, at which Al ingots are first melted in a furnace, then furnace temperature is increased and Si, Fe, Mn or intermediate alloy Al-Mn, Cu or intermediate alloy Al-Cu, Ni, Zn and Ga are added, refining and slag removal are carried out, and then intermediate alloy Al-Ti, alloy of aluminium-rare-earth metal, Mg and intermediate alloy Al-Sr are added to melt. Further, the alloy is melted with subsequent sampling of the alloy for analysis and, if necessary, it is modified to the specified composition of the aluminium alloy, then the molten alloy is poured into moulds under pressure.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high ductility.
