FIELD: production of composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composite material containing a matrix of aluminum alloy and filler particles. Matrix contains, wt %: Si 0.05–0.30; Fe 0.04–0.6; Mn 0.80–1.50; Mg 0.80–1.50; the rest is aluminum and unavoidable impurities, and the filler particles are dispersed in the matrix. Matrix may contain Cu and/or Mo. As filler composite material contains B4C, as well as one or more additives from group: Ti, Cr, V, Nb, Zr, Sr, Sc and any their combination.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining material with high strength at high temperatures.
