FIELD: magnetic measurements.

SUBSTANCE: method of determining magnetic induction in a ferromagnetic dispersed granular sample comprises steps of a container with a sample in the form of vertical filling of dispersed granular material into this container, diameter D of which must significantly exceed diameter d of granules, are subjected to vibration action until reaching such maximum packing density for filling γ granules of the analysed sample, when, as the vibration effect, the upper level of this backfill stops and granules are packed close to the state of natural backfill, i.e. close to formation of structure with square-rhombic cells, wherein to establish criterion value [λ] approximation of the ascending section of the obtained dependence B on λ is carried out taking into account the packing density actually achieved during vibration action on the container with the sample γ.

EFFECT: high accuracy of obtaining a result for determining the magnetic property index of the dispersed granular material.
