FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and can be used in development, maintenance and modernization of spacecrafts (SC). In order to manufacture and maintain the spacecraft in orbit, the spacecraft skeleton with the crate and the payload and service load module is delivered to orbit. Production and maintenance of spacecraft is carried out using a digital twin of spacecraft, covering the stages of development, manufacturing and operation of spacecraft, replenishment of the digital twin with data on the results of manufacturing and maintenance with verification and validation of the digital twin. System for space production comprises ground and onboard facilities connected by means of a bidirectional communication channel and equipped with facilities for creation of digital twins of spacecraft at the stage of development. Onboard facilities are made with possibility of testing separate unified modules and complex tests of spacecraft, as well as replenishment of digital twin of spacecraft with data on results of testing and tests. Ground facilities are equipped with computing facilities designed to test the digital twin of the spacecraft.
EFFECT: higher manufacturability and level of unification, as well as higher reliability.
