FIELD: spacecraft flight monitoring or tracking means; control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of spacecraft (SC) flight monitoring and tracking means and to systems for controlling the target application of a multi-satellite orbital group (OG) of spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth (ERS) consisting of SC of one or different types. To control the target application of spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth, digital twins of means and subsystems used to obtain space images are created. Target application is planned based on digital twin data providing maximum value of target function of orbital system. Flexible control of the target application of the ERS SC orbital grouping is performed, which provides for the re-planning of the on-board and ground control facilities operation programs based on the data contained in the digital twins, in cases of detection of malfunctions in operation of facilities or receipt of new requests for space survey.
EFFECT: efficient use of OG of operated ERS SC.
