FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for rolling of cylindrical housings of metal cups. Proposed device comprises housing fitted on shaft, revolving centre with cap and thrust to press said housing and fitted in lathe tailstock. Housing is installed on the shaft by means of centring balls, a set of wedge rings, a tightening nut with a limb and rolling balls between them with provision of a gap-free movable connection of the housing to the shaft. Housing is made with possibility of engagement with self-aligning dog, fixed in machine tool holder. Tightening nut with a limb rests against the lock nuts, which are made with the possibility of fixing the size of the rolling of the cylindrical housing and ensuring repeatability of the sizes of the rolled cylindrical housing.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of reproduction of wall thickness and diameter of cylindrical housing of metal cup.
