SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, to devices for measuring critical concentration of micelle formation (CMC) of surfactants in solutions. Device for non-contact measurement of critical concentration of micelle formation of surfactants comprises a magnet for forming concave deformation of the surface of the solution layer filling the cup, and a laser serving to form an interference pattern by radiation reflected from deformation. Additionally includes a motorized module for bringing the magnet to the surface of the layer to a given height, a module for measuring the size of the interference pattern, laser beam control module and computer for control, reading and processing of results.

EFFECT: invention can be used to control and optimize properties of additives for agrochemical preparations, reagents for increasing oil recovery, components of household chemicals, personal hygiene products and medical preparations.
