SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, and can be used in checkout technique to determine the critical concentration of micelle formation (CCMF) of surface-active substances (SAS) in water. The method to determine the critical concentration of micelle formation of surface-active substances involves measuring a physical parameter of a solution of surface-active substances that depends on the concentration of the surface-active substances, while measuring the diameter of the rings of the interference pattern depending on the concentration of the surfactant in the solution, the interference the picture is obtained on the screen when the laser beam is reflected from the depression formed by the action of the magnetic field of the neodymium magnet in the layer of the surface-active substance solution.
EFFECT: ability to determine the critical concentration of micelle formation (CCMF) of surface-active substances (SAS) in water, regardless of the type of the surface-active substance, its purity and composition.
