SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry and agricultural machine building, as well as forestry. Device for piercing soil during planting of forest crops includes piercing knives, installed in accordance with the pitch of planting of forest crops along the circumference of the tires of the single-axle trailer on the automobile chassis on the pneumatic running gear and hinged to the plates, the latter are arranged tangentially to tire rolling surface and locked by two pins to angles welded on both sides of tire wheel disc. Piercing knives are made in the form of Kolesov’s planter sword, reinforced by a welded triangular irregular pyramid to one side of the knife, facing in the opposite direction of the trailer chassis movement, or in the form of a complex figure of a truncated rectangular pyramid, combined on a small base of the latter with a rectangular pyramid, the small side of the rectangle of the pyramid is directed along the movement of the trailer.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of planting of forest cultures with accurate maintenance of distances according to the project.
