FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: sword for planting of seedlings comprises rod with cross handle and a working element. Sword comprises additional cutting element, and end of rod on length of working element has a flat surface, which is formed by plane passing via upper and lower points that are diametrically opposite to generatrices of rod surface at this height. Working element is arranged in the form of tray with flat sides and flat section along its axis of symmetry with width equal to diametre of rod. Rod with its flat surface is fixed on back side of working element on its flat section.
EFFECT: such design simplifies sword design, technology of its manufacturing, improves its reliability in operation.
