SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction techniques for extracting scandium from sulphate solutions, particularly to solid extractants. Solid extractant (SOLEX) for extracting scandium from sulphate solutions contains a matrix of polymers of norbornene derivatives obtained by ring-opening metathesis polymerisation.
EFFECT: solid extractant has high mechanical strength, provides high extraction capacity, rate and degree of extraction of scandium, degree of regeneration.
