FIELD: labelling of bottles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods for labelling bottles. Case for bottle, made with possibility of label placement. Case for the bottle contains a plastic material having a cryogenic operating temperature range, a hinge formed in the plastic material, a locking mechanism and a hole formed in the plastic material. Plastic material is sized to surround at least a portion of the bottle. Hinge defines the first half of the shell containing the first edge and the second half of the shell containing the second edge. Locking mechanism is configured to attach the first edge of the first half of the shell to the second edge of the second half of the shell. Hole has an axial length and a transverse length.
EFFECT: labelling of bottles stored at cryogenic temperatures so that labelling can be applied at cryogenic temperatures and the labels remain glued during storage and transportation.
