FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a frame for a plasma arc torch cartridge. Frame includes thermally conductive frame body (308) having a longitudinal axis, a first end configured to connect to a first consumable component, and a second end configured to mate with a second consumable component. Frame body surrounds at least a portion of the second consumable component. Frame also includes a set of flow passages (328A, 328B) formed within the frame body. Set of flow passages connects an internal surface of the frame body and an external surface of the frame body. Set of flow holes is configured to impart a fluid flow pattern about the second consumable component.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the number of parts, optimisation of the operating parameters of the system, in particular, an increase in thermal conductivity and optimisation of the orientation of the components from the inside, as well as easier installation of consumables.
