FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry, and is intended for dental prosthesis fixation, in particular when installing dental implants, including installation of temporary dental crowns on these implants. Abutment contains an adapter fixed on the implant, on which a cap is installed for attachment of a dental crown on it. Outer and inner surfaces of the cap are fixed against mutual circumferential and axial displacement of the cap relative to the adapter and the dental crown relative to the cap. On the outer surface of the cap there is a groove enveloping it in the cross section in the upper part and formed by two flat side walls, in the lower part a projection formed by two flat side walls, and in its middle part a ledge. Inner surface of the cap is made in the upper part of the cylindrical with an annular cylindrical transverse projection and below it is made in the form of a downward expanding regular truncated pyramid with a transverse projection at the bottom of the pyramid, formed by two side flat walls and a transverse recess made above this projection, formed by two flat side walls. Adapter is made in the upper part with an external surface in the form of a regular truncated pyramid, on the external surface of which there is a transverse projection enveloping the pyramid, which is formed by two flat side walls. Dimensions of the external surface of the adapter in the form of a regular truncated pyramid are identical to those of the lower part of the inner surface of the cap, which is made in the form of a regular truncated pyramid. Inner surface of the adapter is formed in the upper part by a threaded section, which changes into a cylindrical stepwise tapering section.
EFFECT: higher reliability and accuracy of dental crown fixation relative to cap and cap relative to adapter.
