SUBSTANCE: device relates to radio communication and can be used to transmit and receive information in tropospheric communication systems. In the proposed device for transmitting and receiving information in a tropospheric radio communication channel, the transmitter additionally includes an inverse fast Fourier transform unit, power amplifier with two identical outputs and two transmitting antennae, one of which is with vertical polarization (VP), and the other is with horizontal polarization (HP), and the receiver additionally includes two receiving antennae, each of which contains outputs with vertical (VP) and horizontal (HP) polarization, signal preprocessing units, units of direct fast Fourier transform and adder of maximum ratios (AMR), with the corresponding circuit of their connection to each other.

EFFECT: high noise-immunity and, consequently, the range of the communication channel at a transmission rate of up to 34 Mbit/s.
